The training teaches you to create a web site using the 'Create' package. This enables you to create a site yourself using the 30 day free trial period. You are then able to buy a domain name for your site and pay a monthly (or annual) fee to Create in order to make it available to the public. Sites cost approximately £5 per month to run. Payment is always done online, using a secure system. Please note that you when you attend one of our courses, you are under no obligation to register and publish your site. Course Outine
Preparation for your Training
 We have found that a small amount of preparation goes a long way with this training! We want to help you get as far as possible with your web site plans during the course. It will therefore help to think about the following points:
1) Who will your site be for? Being clear about who the end users are will help greatly to ensure the site is effective.
2) What is the basic structure? Other than a home page, consider what pages or sections you think you will need.
3) What content do you have already, preferably in electronic form? Having digital images and text to hand will make building your site quicker and easier. If you bring these along on a CD we may be able to use them during

The training will provide you with the skills and knowledge to build your site. Some of the groundwork can be done during the course, but you should expect to do the majority of the work on your site in between sessions or after the course is finished.
